I am working on a book about people who have been ripped off by
the lending industry and would like a place for them to post their stories.

I am doing this so that people who read it will be able to tell the good
guys from the bad.

There are a lot of con artists in our industry and there are those
who really do care about their clients.

Maybe brokers could also leave their clients stories that they have
been able to help after having a bad experiance.

They would have to leave out their real names if they did not
get permission to use them.

These are just a few thoughts I had.

Let me know what you think.

Tony,
Good job. This industry needs an overhaul. I have been doing this for nearly 10 years but it seems within the past 4 years with the low hanging fruit it just invites the worst of the worst to get into the business. I am sick of calling on leads and someone was quoted outrageous rates and fees that do not exist. Even checking Provident's rates(The lowest rate lender around with the worst customer service in the industry) they were .25 bips below Provident. I hope your book takes off. We need it and consumers need it.

I agree with you both, but it's getting worse. I could tell you a story that would be a book in it'sself. Just one office that is so out of control you would most likeley not believe me. I can't post it on a public board due to pending litigation but if interested in hearing about it email me and I'll give you the nuts and bolts.
