Someone told me this is a good option for paying off your mortgage and debt. If so where would I go to get one?

There currently are no such programs. And it is a good thing as in many cases, these type loans are being foreclosed on.

You want to have a loan that is a fixed rate, with a specific repayment period. Then if you want to pay it off early, just make extra payments.
