Yes. FHA allows financing for manufactured homes.

However, lender's offering FHA financing are not required to extend FHA loans to Manufactured homes. So some lenders choose not to offer financing for them through FHA.

The common requirements are:

• Double-Wide Only
• Home must be on a permanent foundation with axle, tongue, and groove removed
• The wheels, tongue, and axle must be removed
• Usually a Foundation Inspection is required

There may be additional additions to the interest rate or reductions in the loan to value ratio due to this type of home.
