Final Inspection of the Property
You should make a final inspection of the property before closing and moving in to be sure that it is in good condition. If repairs or maintenance on the property are a part of the purchase agreement, you should check the house carefully to make certain that the seller has completed everything called for in the contract.
If any mechanical or electrical equipment (heating plant, water heater, refrigerator, range, washing machine, dishwasher, etc.) are sold with the home, don't forget to obtain from the seller copies of the manufacturer's warranties on the equipment together with information as to whom to call in case it needs to be serviced. |
